Microtech Rarities

The Microtechs in this section are all fairly rare or in some cases one of a kind. There are no current, up to date records of most of these knives and finding information an approximating value has been very tedious and somewhat unproductive.

This being the case we will supply all of the information we know about any particular item and stick a price on it. The prices are, in some cases, purely an educated guess based on the model, style, age, desirability, demand, rarity and any other "bells and whistles" there may be.

PLEASE NOTE: Since we have had so many inquiries about SO MANY of the items we've listed but not priced yet, we've decided to just stick a price on them close to where we think they should be. Some of you hard core Microtech collectors probably know more about some of these than we do. Some of the prices will be high and some might be steals. The items that don't move will be periodically marked down in a "DUTCH AUCTION" manner. If you see something you like add it to "your favorites" and check it regularly. As the prices adjust downward you, or somebody that wants the item just a bit more than you, will be able to decide when an item reaches the value it has to you or another collector.

Microtech Tactical LCC Lightfoot DA micarta scales

All black boride hardware, green back spacer, gray / green linen micarta scales, shark logo clip and shark logo belt pouch. 154CM black boride blade produced 07/2001.

This is probably the last LCC you'll see for sale for some time. I believe it's the last we've got. We can't find any record of LCCs made in 07/2001 and the prices we have found are all over the board. This one is a little special because of it's "tactical" dress and if in stirring the 6 year old mud of my mind it seems there was something special about these. If remember correctly the green back spacer meant something but I don't remember what. It's a very cool, highly coveted knife though, in any configuration. I carried one until I wore it out and it was my all time favorite carry knife, bar none. I wouldn't mind keeping this one myself. But, as Tony Montana said in Scareface, "don't get high on your own supply" and we are in business to sell knives. If this one doesn't sell quick I'd be very surprised but not disappointed. I just LOVE the LCC and we all know there aren't going to be anymore.
