The symetry of the Full Hell Razor first strikes you but then your eye is drawn to the artistic synergy of the textures, colors and meticulous craftsmanship inherent in any true work of art. This beautiful piece was constructed around Rainys liner material of choice, 6AL 4V Titainium jewel internally, fileworked externally then annodized in a mezmerizing aquamarine blue. Then there are the bluish tinted stablized Mammoth Molar Scales to get lost in. The front bolster, back bolster and button were created from Matt Wilkinf bias damascus and the blade is Chad Nichols Calligraphy pattern. The Persian is built around a 6AL 4V Titainium liners that have been fileworked, annodized and are seperated by a 440C backspring. Encasing the liners are stablized and colored Mammoth molar and Mike Sakmar Mokume bolsters. Formed around 6AL 4V fileworked and annodized liners thios little liner locking button deployed auto has much more to say. Just looking into the hot blued mirror polished Chad Nichols damascus dagger blade catches a persons interest but then there's the anodized "timascus" bolster and button which is nestled into 2500 year old Mammoth ivory scales. Mel Pardue LDC3 #38 of 45 made (SOLD)

Very Early Custom Mel Pardue LDC3 #38 of 45 made in the early days of Mel's prolific well known knife designs and creations. A true piece of Mel Pardue History!

This is a very rare early Mel Pardue LDC3. It's a LARGE knife at just shy of 10 inches open with a heavy satin finished modified chisel ground tanto blade just over 4 inches long. It is coil spring fired and has a black linen Micarta handle with knurling top and bottom for a better grip. The button is inlaid with what looks to be red linen micarta. There is also a removable pocket clip. The front of the blade is stamped LDC3 and the rear has the Mel Pardue logo and the number 38. These are as rare as hens teeth being not only very few in numbers but an early Mel Pardue offering as well.

The Black Micarta scales of this botton release liner lock enclose a 6AL 4v Titainium liners that have been internally jeweled, externally fileworked and anodized an eyecatching bluish purple. The back spring is also fileworked and mirror polished to match the mirror polished blade and button. Even the spring has been jeweled. The artistry of this knife is it's simplicity and it's simplicity makes it an affordablr piece for just about any knife collector that appreciates fine craftsmanship. Ovewrall 7.75 inches. A limited number of 100 of these Buck 110 / 112 double blade combinations were made to commemorate Bucks recent move fromEl Cajon Ca. to Post falls Idaho.

Less than 10 of these special Buck commemoratives have been meticulously fileworked on the backspring and blade spine and expertly converted to make BOTH BLADES fully automatic. These knives came from Buck and passed through the shop of Michael Prater for customization. These are VERY SPECIAL and are sure to be very popular as collectable pieces for MANY REASONS.

A MILESTONE in BUCK KNIFE HISTORY is commemorated by taking two of BUCKS most copied, popular and enduring designs and combining them in a single knife with a Buck 110 Hunter blade from Bucks previous El Cajon California facility and pairing it up in a single knife with a Buck 112 Ranger blade from Buck knives new Post Falls Idaho facility. We have been told that 250 of these Buck commemoratives were made.

A limited number of Buck commemorative double bladed 110 / 112 combinations were made. We know of 4 that were converted to both blades being automatic. Then Michael Prater of Painted Pony customized and fileworked the pieces. The 110 blade is from Bucks old plant in El Cajon Ca. The 112 Blade is from Post Falls Idaho, Bucks new home. These are VERY RARE and higly sought after. I think this is the most beautiful one because of the simplicity of the brass bolsters and large round button embracing the dark black buffalo horn.

Michael Prater is also making quite a name for himself with his custom "Painted Pony" knives.

This is the most beautiful one I've seen. The others I saw were exotic wood scaled. The black buffalo horn really sets this knife off with a simplisting beauty. Remember the Movato Watch? Simple but award winning beauty. That's how I would describe this knife. If it doesn't sell it won't hurt my feelings a bit. Seeing it leave might though.

This is a VERY RARE Beauty! This Case Mini Copperlock is handled with one of the rarest Mammoth Ivory handles and has some beautiful filework which sets off this fantastic looking knife. One of our favorites! My guess is there won't be another one like it! AND, like most of the ones we have, it's an AUTO!! Comes with Certificate of Origination from Case that reads:

The handles of this Case knife are crafted from fossilized Mammoth Ivory mined from the permafrost of Siberian Russia. The Mammoth, an ancestor to the modern Elephant first roamed the earth some 4 to 5 million years ago, and became extinct between 12 and 40 thousand years ago. Because this handle has been underground for thousands of years, there may be large variations in color or surface finish. Fossil Mammoth Ivory handles may have lines, fissures or other imperfections that are inherent in this material and should not be considered as defects.
