The Kershaw RJ I 1985ST is an Assisted Opening Knife that is a RJ Martin design. The Speed Safe quickly depoloys the blade with the push of the flipper or thumbstud. The flat-ground tanto tip is quite a bit thicker than most tantos and the handle is a 3-D machined G-10 with a stainless steel liner lock on the back only. It's a lightweigh carry tip down carry for right handed carriers or tip up for left handed carriers. An ambidextrious knife. Overall open length is 8 inches with a 3.5 inch hollow grind serrated tanto blade.
